Please keep in mind that this points system has been devised to ensure that even if there is a material imbalance in the strength of the competing sides, there remains a meaningful number of points for either team to compete for in each match.

- MPW.1 - Points shall be awarded based on the overall result of the match as follows:

- MPW.2 - Bonus points shall be awarded to the LOSING team on the following basis:
Batting second (regardless of length of match)
Bowling second (regardless of length of match)
Bonus points will be automatically calculated by PlayCricket but teams should check to ensure that this is the case and notify the Competition Manager ASAP if any errors are noticed.

- MPW.3 - In the event of poor weather reducing play to an extent where both sides are unable to bowl at least 6 completed overs then points shall be awarded as stated in MPW.1.
- MPW.4 - In the event of poor weather reducing play but NOT enough to prevent both sides bowling 6 complete overs, the result of the match shall be calculated via the Duckworth/Lewis method using one of the following apps:
